Last weeks player of the week: CJ Beasley Though the game vs Lee County was a forfeit victory, this young man had an outstanding week of practice and continues to improve each week. CJ works extremely hard to help us get prepared each week and we expect big things from him. Congratulations CJ!

This weeks player of the week is Cane Childers. Cane stepped up in the biggest moments and played an outstanding game. Cane was asked to start and play both ways and made some huge plays. Cane had a 12 yard rushing TD, a 44 yard Receiving TD and a game altering Interception that swung the momentum. Congratulations Cane! Keep getting better!

Des Arc Schools will release early on Thursday, October 17th for Elementary Parent Teacher Conferences scheduled for 2:00-6:00. PreK dismisses at 12:45, Elementary at 1:00, and High School at 1:15. DAPS will be closed Friday, Oct. 18th.

Hoco Spirit Week 2024! Today's theme was "Rhyme Without a Reason". This might be a fave! We have laughed and laughed. Once again, it's so hard to choose because we want to pick them all. Today's winners are: Maddox Ward as "The Ref & Jeff" (that's Mr. Jeff Singleton in the pics) Charleigh Patterson and Abby Morton as "The Beekeeper & Chimney Sweeper" Jacques Reidhar and Hattie Burton as "The Banana & Hannah Montana" We do have to include Mrs. Regina Lyles as "BJ" (aka Coach Paschal). Her partner "DJ" was MIA. GREAT JOB EVERYONE!!

10-10-24 Elementary Homecoming Pep Rally Checkout In order to handle the early check outs we have for the Homecoming Pep Rally, we are going to do the Pep Rally Pick Ups in the bus drive. Cars will enter the west gate on the bus drive and drive around single file to the east gate and stop. Duty teachers will be there to help load students being checked out for the Pep Rally. Please send a note to your child’s teacher if they will be checking out for the Pep Rally. We will call them all out at the same time and bring them out to the line. Please do not wait until the last minute to notify us your child is being checked out. The sooner we know who is being checked out the smoother and faster things will go and we will be done before the buses need the bus drive. The Homecoming Pep Rally begins at 2:45. We will call students down and start loading cars at 1:30 in the bus drive.
